A note from Alvaro

I have made many mistakes in my life, but I most regret having treated other people badly. These were the times when I felt most incoherent because I don’t like being mistreated myself or seeing others being treated badly. It is hard to believe that we would hurt each other because of money or status, but I see this happen all too often. Life is full of ups and downs, and money and status come and go. What always remains are the relationships we build with other people. The question I want to ask is this: How do we want to be remembered at the end of our life?

Taking advantage of the opportunity, I would like to express my sincere apologies to anyone who I have treated badly, intentionally or unintentionally. I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me. At the same time, I reaffirm my commitment to work every day on making sure my actions are more coherent.

When we started Z Horse, the first principle we chose was “Treat everyone as we want to be treated, with dignity and respect.” We consider it essential for everyone working at Z Horse to apply this principle on a daily basis.
